All the following projects were completed during my internship at UNICEF that was officially titled Communications and Graphic Design, Field Support & Eco/Sustainability Internship.
I created the following flyers for a program that was created and organized by myself and my co-intern Steph Lawlor. We were able to launch our project titled Virtual Green Summer Camp or Eco-Activity Series for all of the NYHQ UNICEF Staff's children. Because of the coronavirus, parents have working full-time as well as taking care of their children full-time so the camp was intended to relieve parents a few hours every day from child care and let them focus on their errands or simply just leisure time.
The UNICEF Green Team commissioned me to create flyers/zoom waiting room images for their Eco-Webinar Series. I was also honored to be able to host one of the webinars with my co-intern, Steph Lawlor. We spoke with Michael Reynolds about his company, Earthship Biotecture, and how he has pioneered sustainable architecture.
I collaborated on this project with my co-intern, Steph Lawlor. It was meant as an emailer pamphlet to send out to participants of a webinar meant to teach UNICEF employees about eco-friendly practices.
The following are "eco tips" that I developed for UNICEF's Green Team website. I researched, wrote copy, and created the illustrations for each tip.
The following are more examples of the type of work I was doing at UNICEF. Many of the projects had really strict guidelines but I really enjoyed working for an organization that is really trying to make an impact.
I sorted through tons of "eco-habits" submitted to the UNICEF Green Team. Below are the card formats we used to showcase them on the new Eco-Habits website. I helped design the layout of the page and added in all the eco-habits.
